Terms of Use
Last updated 15 October 2026
The short version
- You must be 18 or older to use synclyfe.
- What you post is yours. You let us store and show it so synclyfe can work.
- Don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, harassing or that isn't yours to share.
- We can remove content or accounts that break these rules.
- synclyfe is a free, independent project offered as it is, without guarantees.
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Pathan Asadkhan, the individual in Vadodara, Gujarat, India who runs synclyfe (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using synclyfe, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don’t agree, please don’t use synclyfe.
2. Who can use synclyfe
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
- You can’t use synclyfe if we have previously removed your account for breaking these terms.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your login details secret.
- You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
- Pick a username that doesn’t impersonate anyone or infringe anyone’s rights. We may reclaim usernames that do.
- One person per account. Accounts can’t be sold or transferred.
4. Your content
You own what you post: your syncs, photos, categories and profile (“your content”). To run synclyfe, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, resize, display and transmit your content, only to operate and improve synclyfe. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups for the retention period in our Privacy Policy, and content others have already seen or saved.
You confirm you have the right to post your content, including every photo, and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.
5. What you must not post or do
In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not post, share or store anything on synclyfe that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to share;
- is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of someone else’s privacy (including their body), or insulting or harassing on the basis of gender;
- is racially or ethnically objectionable, promotes hatred or violence, or relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads people about where a message came from, or knowingly shares information that is false or misleading;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, incites any offence, or insults another nation;
- contains viruses or any code meant to interrupt, damage or limit any device or service;
- breaks any law currently in force.
You also must not:
- harass, threaten, bully or stalk anyone;
- spam, or create accounts automatically or in bulk;
- try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, scrape synclyfe, or interfere with how it works;
- use synclyfe to advertise or sell things without our permission.
More detail and examples are in our Community Guidelines.
6. Reports, removal and suspension
Anyone can report a sync, category or profile with Report in its ⋯ menu, or by emailing asyncasad@gmail.com. You can also block anyone, so neither of you sees the other. If we find, or are told about, content that breaks these terms or the law, we may remove it or disable access to it, and may warn, suspend or permanently remove the account responsible. Where the law requires, we act on valid orders from courts or government authorities, and may keep related information and share it with them.
Content showing someone in a sexual act, nude or partially nude, or impersonating them in such content, is removed within 24 hours of a complaint by the person shown or someone acting for them.
If we remove your content or account and you think we got it wrong, email us and we will review it.
7. Our part
The synclyfe name, logo, design and code belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them, apart from linking to synclyfe or sharing your own content.
synclyfe is free. It is a personal project, and we may change, pause or stop any part of it. If we ever plan to shut synclyfe down, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can save your content.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using synclyfe at any time and delete your account in Settings → Delete account, or ask us to by emailing asyncasad@gmail.com. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it.
9. No guarantees
synclyfe is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important. We aren’t responsible for content posted by other users or for sites you reach through links on synclyfe.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of synclyfe. Because synclyfe is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to be responsible for claims made against us that result from content you post or from your breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Vadodara, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, though we’d always rather sort things out by email first.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use synclyfe after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Contact
